It is “Team Member Thursday”, and this week we are introducing Candido Gaspar who joined the Dover team in March 2015 as a field service team member for LMP’s Maintenance division.  We caught up with Candido this week to learn a little about his journey in the green industry:

How long have you been in the green industry? I started ten years ago and have spent the past seven working with the teams at LMP.

How did you get into landscaping?  I worked indoors at a chicken farm for 14 years and felt I needed a change.

What do you like about the green industry? I find that I am far happier working outdoors than I ever was inside a building so I’d have to say the fresh air and sunshine.

What designations or certifications have you obtained or would you like to obtain?   I am Best Management Practices certified.

What interesting hobbies do you have?  I play the guitar and enjoy attending church services.

What is your mantra or catch phrase?  Home is where happiness is.

What is your favorite place to visit?  The Republic of Guatemala, Miami Beach, and West Palm Beach.

If you had a theme song, what would it be? Church hymns are my preferred music.

If you were able to give your younger self one piece of advice, what would it be?  Explore new places!
