It’s “Team Member Thursday”, and this week we are introducing Dave Mason who joined LMP in 2018. We caught up with Dave to learn a little about his journey in the green industry:

How long have you been in the green industry? I began more than 20 years ago not knowing what started out as a job would turn into my career that I would be passionate about. 

What do you like about the green industry? It would be difficult to pick just one thing; it’s a combination of the people I work with and the ever changing environment.  Plants are resilient if provided the proper care, and it makes me proud to know that my experience and knowledge contribute to keeping them healthy.

What designations or certifications have you obtained? I completed my Best Management Practices (BMP) certification, and I have both the Pesticide and Commercial Fertilizer Applicator licenses. I am working towards obtaining a Certified Pest Control Operator (CPCO) license.

What interesting hobbies do you have? I love to fish and I enjoy football season.

What is your mantra or catch phrase? Why? “Get ‘er done”! Whether it’s a personal or professional responsibility, it makes more sense and causes less stress to simply take action.
